MINISTRY PRESENTATION

TEACHER’S MINISTRY

First of all we salute you all (UPSF MEMBERS) in Jesus name. Glory and honor be to our Almighty God because we have seen him in different aspects; the one who is the director, controller, advisor and protector of this ministry as well as the whole fellowship. So in short we can say is the alpha and omega of our life (Revelation 1:8 I am the First and the Last, says the Lord God who is and was and is to come, the Ruler of all)

INTRODUCTION

This ministry was firstly introduced in UPSF in May 2016 under Mussa Seleman (the entire chairperson) with Mchele Zabron (the vice entire chairperson). UPSF has two branches which are Mazimbu branch and Main Campus branch. In Mazimbu, the ministry was started with not less than 30 members.

Currently, in Mazimbu Campus, teacher’s ministry is under control of only two leaders. Below is list of their name, position as well as their contacts

OBJECTIVES

The following below are the objectives of teacher’s ministry:

a)      Making sure that every member of this ministry is able to :

Ø  Read the Bible as well as understanding it

Ø  Teach the word of God in front of the mass

Ø  Live what he/she learn in order to be a good teacher (1 TIM 04:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee) etc

b)      Designing / preparing scripts special for outreach mission 

c)      Discussing various common questions facing many born again Christians. For example

Ø  What is salvation?

Ø  Is Jesus a God or son of God?

Ø  Trinity etc

d)     Learning and discussing various prepared topics. The following are example of the topics that are already discussed and some are on progress. Something to remember is that “learning is the continuous process”

Ø  History of the church

Ø  Bible version(external)

Ø  Bible version(internal)

Ø  Real salvation

Ø  Trinity

Ø  Rupture of the church

Ø  Holy Spirit

Ø  Types of biblical message

Ø  What to be considered before and during teaching the word of God etc

e)      Others that emerge day after day

SUCCESS

We thank God for this ministry because it is very helpful to us in terms of spiritual growth as well as understanding. Referring to the objectives, approximately more than 60% it is already covered.

CHALLEGES

1.      Shortage of time during learning   2. Poor attendance     3. Poor time management

4.   Shortage of material
